Denise has held leadership positions in several health-related organizations. She is an experienced facilitator who spearheaded a 25-member Steering Committee of regional healthcare and other community leaders resulting in a strategic plan that currently provides a blueprint for developing, delivering and financing healthcare services for Greater Richmond’s uninsured. Denise holds a Master of Science in Health Evaluation Sciences from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of William and Mary. She serves on the Board of Directors for Access Now and Homeward and is a graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond.

Donna has over 35 years experience in nursing and mental health services, healthcare administration, nursing and interdisciplinary continuing education, quality improvement/risk management, standards compliance and survey readiness consulting, including Executive Director (interim), workforce advocacy staff and consultant to the Virginia Nurses Association. Donna has served on statewide, community and facility committees, boards and task forces relating to nursing, healthcare, child day care, adult education, quality improvement and risk management. She received BS in Nursing from Molloy College in Rockville Center, NY and Master's in Nursing with a minor in Education from New York University. Professional affiliations include the Virginia Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Center for American Nurses, Virginia Organization of Nurse Executives and Sigma Theta Tau, Upsilon Chapter (National Honor Society for Nursing). She is licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York and Virginia.
