Class of 2012 Applications are available now!

Experience suggests that a diverse and balanced Class provides rich discussion and learning opportunities. Nurses who serve as, or have been identified as having the potential to be, a nurse manager or a member of the management team may be nominated. Priority will be given to nurses with less than 5 years of management experience.

Prospective NLI Fellows must:

• Be a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Demonstrate a commitment to developing as a leader
• Show a desire to exert an impact on nurse retention and quality of patient care
• Be identified and nominated by their employer as a nurse leader

While titles may vary by employer, applicants must have responsibility for:

1. Supervising and leading a nursing unit
2. Hiring and evaluating nursing and other personnel
3. Budgeting and financial management
4. Monitoring patient care outcomes and satisfaction.

To fully benefit from the Fellow experience and complete all NLI activities, responsibility in each of these four areas is critical.

• Current resume.

After completing your application, (1) save the application as a Word file (use your first initial and last name as the file name) and email it to the NLI or (2) print the application and mail it in or (3) print the application, scan it, save as a *.pdf and email it to the NLI.
